# Priors

> The observability layer for machine-augmented judgment.

Priors captures what a person believed before machine input, the evidence and
reasoning they encountered, how their judgment changed or held, what they say
caused the change, and whether it persisted.

Priors is currently in closed alpha within the
[cyborg.build](https://cyborg.build/) research programme.
